At Fall Line, we use force plate testing data to study the unilateral posture, power, and strength of our clients and athletes as they move for performance diagnostics and rehabilitation purposes.

What are force plates? How do they work?
Force plates are an instrument which measures ground reaction force. This is the force which any one person exerts onto the ground — usually corresponding to their body weight.
Any differences in force unilaterally can help identify baseline strength, power and postural imbalances for athletes or rehab purposes. When used in conjunction with a training plan, they can help assess the effectiveness of the training program and identify areas which need improvement. Also can be used to assess an athletes ‘return to sport’ readiness.
Force plate testing sessions are 75 min (1.5 hours)
