Adam Morrison earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2014. Afterward, he worked in sports and rehabilitation clinics in Vancouver until moving to Squamish in 2019. He has since completed additional training in various areas, including back rehabilitation, running rehabilitation, functional dry needling (IMS), neck pain treatment, best practice shoulder rehabilitation, management of functional fitness athletes, clinical bike fitting, and orthopedic manual therapy.
Adam has had the opportunity to work with numerous athletes and has volunteered his time for various charity events, including basketball, boxing, and soccer tournaments. He has also contributed to concussion baseline assessments for the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team and Surrey Minor Lacrosse. Additionally, he is a published author of research on knee osteoarthritis.
Working with Adam
Adam’s approach to treatment is specific to each person – using hands-on intervention as needed, movement analysis and retraining, and injury-specific exercises. Above all, he wants to get his patients back to moving pain-free and doing what they love!
Outside the clinic
When not working, Adam can be found biking, skiing, playing hockey, kayaking, and trail running with his dog, Penny.
